#Hashtag

Social media has been created for the intercommunication amongst people, in particular Twitter. This interconnectivity creates what we call out online persona, the digitally crafted object that brings us to life online.

In my podcast, I highlight what helps create the public presentation of the online self and how it can still be changed by growth of individualizing ones self. Through the hand-in-hand motion of the user-generated hashtag, we have been able to create a new way of networking through streams of popular topics.

  1. I really like your SoundCloud recording! I used SoundCloud for my blog post this week as well and it turned out to be really easy and useful! I enjoyed how you added in celebrities talking about and using hashtags in the recording, which makes sense because the majority of the lecture was about how celebrities use Twitter and the hashtag. This website: https://www.hashtags.org/analytics/3DPRINTING/
displays everything you need to know about a particular hashtag. It is linked to 3D Printing because that is my media platform. I am not sure what yours is but it is really interesting to search the media platform and see all the users, hashtags and tweets that come up for it. Great blog post!
